About the Event
Join us at Beerburg Brewing for a special community screening of Mama Bears — a powerful documentary about faith, family, and the fierce love that transforms hearts and communities. We will leave space for socializing and settling and plan to start the movie at 2:00 PM.
The film follows the journeys of Christian mothers whose unconditional love for their LGBTQ+ children leads them to re-examine long-held beliefs and become advocates for inclusion. Alongside their stories, we meet queer youth finding the courage to live and love openly, and the communities learning to grow alongside them.
After the screening, we’ll host an informal discussion for those who’d like to stay and share reflections. It’s an open, welcoming space to connect with others who care deeply about belonging and acceptance.
